The Bulgarian-Romanian Chamber of Commerce team, chaired by Atty. Victor Gugushev organized the first-ever business breakfast, where members and partners of the Chamber had the opportunity to meet and discuss key topics with representatives of the authorities.
The discussion featured the President of the Republic of Bulgaria – Mr Rumen Radev, as well as the Ambassadors of Romania to Bulgaria – H.E. Brândușa Predescu, and of Bulgaria to Romania – H.E. Radko Vlaykov. Together with over 100 representatives of companies from both countries, they discussed important issues related to energy and transport connectivity between Bulgaria and Romania, tourism development, and the upcoming Schengen membership.
President Radev emphasized the significance of improving the connectivity between the two countries, which is crucial for the development of the entire region. He stressed that Schengen membership is a strategic goal for which Bulgaria and Romania must continue to work together.
The Chairman of the Chamber, attorney-at-law Victor Gugushev, highlighted the need for Bulgaria to make additional efforts to become a more attractive destination for Romanian investors. He emphasized the importance of both countries continuing to deepen their economic cooperation.
The Bulgarian-Romanian Chamber of Commerce, established over 20 years ago, has become one of the largest and fastest-growing bilateral chambers, more than doubling its membership over the past year.
