Gugushev & Partners Law Office represented Rashev & Co Ltd., a company specialising in the development and construction of renewable energy (RES) projects, in a commercial dispute arising from the non-payment of remuneration under a contract for the construction of a photovoltaic power plant.

The client duly performed all of its contractual obligations and completed the construction works in accordance with the agreed terms. Despite the successful completion of the project, the employer refused to pay the contractual remuneration for the completed works.

To protect the client's financial interests and secure the future enforcement of its claim, the firm sought interim relief before commencing court proceedings. At the client's request, the court granted security measures, including the attachment of the debtor's bank accounts and the registration of encumbrances over its real estate assets.

In parallel, the firm developed a comprehensive litigation strategy aimed at resolving the dispute efficiently while avoiding lengthy court proceedings. The procedural measures taken, together with the court-ordered security measures, created the necessary conditions for the parties to reach an out-of-court settlement based on mutual concessions.

As a result, the dispute was fully resolved, and the client recovered the outstanding contractual remuneration in full without the need for prolonged litigation.
