Two members of the Gugushev & Partners Law Office IP department, Partner Yoanna Ivanova and associate Tsvetelina Paskova, authored an article reviewing the recent EU P2B (Platform-to-business) Regulation, which was published by CEE Legal Matters.

The article begins with some background on why regulation of online platforms is needed, as anti-competitive practices have been conducted by large online retailers, directly impacting smaller businesses.

Yoanna and Tsvetelina go on to describe the different conditions set out by the legislation to ensure appropriate performance. It is noteworthy to mention that the current EU regulations leave the creation of specific laws to each member state while providing guidelines on the standards and scopes those laws should have.
