On 7-8 June the Balkan Business Summit, organized by the Bulgarian-Turkish Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the Bulgarian-Romanian Chamber of Commerce, was held in Bansko for the first time. The President of the BTCC, Burhan Nemutlu and Atty. Victor Gugushev, Senior Partner at Gugushev & Partners Law office, in his capacity as Chairman of the BRCC, shared their views and ideas on business in the Balkans during an interview with "Our Day" from BNR.

The summit was attended by Boyko Takov, Executive Director of BSMEPA, and Mila Nenova, Executive Director of IBA, as well as diplomats and representatives of the central and local governments of Bulgaria, Turkey and Romania. During the event, a number of discussions and workshops were held focusing on investment opportunities and economic cooperation between the Balkan countries.

In the interview with BNR, Atty. Viktor Gugushev spoke about the agreement signed between the two chambers and their joint economic strategy aimed at expanding investment in Eastern and Central Europe. He stressed that the concept of the forum foresees the inclusion of more partners and representatives of other Balkan countries, in order to exchange best practices and introduce new investment opportunities.

Atty. Victor Gugushev also drew attention to the potential of the Romanian market, which offers many opportunities for the expansion of investments by Bulgarian companies. In this context, businesses can take advantage of the proximity and common economic interests to create successful and sustainable business ties.

We congratulate BTCC and BRCC for the successes of the Balkan Business Summit and look forward to the cooperation and growth they will bring to the Balkan business community.
