Mr. Stefan Gugushev /Attorney-at-Law/, Mr. Petko Angelov /Attorney-at-Law/ and Yoanna Ivanova /Attorney-at-Law/ participated in a round table organized by INTA (International Trade Mark Association) and Petoshevich–Bulgaria OOD in connection with the implementation of Regulation (EU) No. 608/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 12 June 2013 concerning customs enforcement of intellectual property rights and repealing Council Regulation (EU) No 1383/2003. The roundtable was attended by experts from the Patent Office, the Customs Agency, representatives of the judiciary and lawyers specialized in the intellectual property area. The purpose of the roundtable was to present and discuss the latest practices in the fight against counterfeiting in terms of right holders and law enforcement authorities, considering how the new aspects as set out in the Regulation are practically applied, as well as discussing the strategy for overcoming the difficulties met by the practicing colleagues in the implementation of concrete texts of the Regulation.
